Electroscope experiment was shown to students in 8F. In the 2nd period went to 9D which was the period of Athira teacher KUCTE.  The marks were distributed to the students that was conducted yesterday. My speaker was given to 8E for their dance practice. It was actually my observation day and my mentor Neena miss came for the observation in the 5th period at 9D and I took the portion characteristics of waves. I got valuable comments from my teacher.

The day begins with a special assembly in regards with Martyrs’ Day which is observed on January 30 to commemorate the death of Mahatma Gandhi, who was assassinated on the same day in 1948. And around 11am we all stood silent for 2 minutes. Athira teacher of KUCTE,Kumarapuram came to me and gave two of her periods on Tuesday and Wednesday as she would be absent for that day. A test paper was conducted in the 2nd period by borrowing a period from the English teacher Udaya ma'am of 9D.

As usual the day started with the motive to finish the lesson plans, but unfortunately it was a half day because of some exams held in the school. Anyway I took the substitution and went to 5A. After entering the class I came to understand that there were specially disabled students in the class. It was actually a good experience and that was the first time I interacted with students like that. There were only 3 students in the class , in that two were disabled. One girl was repeatedly asking about her friend, whether she would come, what happened to her and so on! Actually she was testing my patience unknowingly. By that time Aiswarya teacher came and we together took them to the canteen to have their breakfast. And the breakfast was uppumavv and banana. We took food for them and served it. After eating that one of them asked for a banana and I gave her. But the girl refused the banana and at last I ate. Then we went to the class and the Aiswarya teacher went in search of another teac

 It was a hectic day for me. I was engaged for 6 periods. The first period itself I got a substitution and then 3rd and 4th period in 9D teaching current electricity. In the 5th period I went to 8 I and gave revision questions on water . Last but not the least went to 8F and took fibre and plastics.  The highlight of the day was a task. The task was to find the key to the science lab. The school faculties were unaware about the key and they didn't know the key number. So I took a bunch of keys each time and went upstairs and had a trial on each key. Finally I opened the science lab and it was key number 18. I was so happy 😊 and I took a rheostat, voltmeter and ammeter to show my students. Also headmaster Jos sir said that he may call us to clean an the lab one day. During class hour at 9D , my guide came and fired the students who made noise and told them to be quiet and listen to me. If anyone didn't obey ,he asked to inform him.

 In the first period I got 9D as a substitution period and I took the chapter current electricity. I taught them emf and current with the help simulations. The students were so interested to see the simulations. Then we had duty during the lunch break. After that I had class at 8 E where I demonstrated an experiment for loudness using foil paper balls and a cylinder shaped hollow vessel. To make them understand about pitch, I used a speaker to play music that contained both high pitch and low pitch.

 To the second day, second chapter I decided to go for substitution period. I found out the substitution book and I was assigned with four substitution periods( 1st period- 7D, 3rd- 8E, 4th- 8F and 6th- 6D). I went to 7 D and played a game called " guess the word". The class was set up into two teams say A and B. One team was asked to give 3 clues on any object, place or person where as the other team has to guess the word and they were given 5 chances to answer the question. It was a very interactive and funny session. Then I went to 8 E with the intention to teach , but it was occupied by another trainee teacher. During the 4th period , I went to 8 F for the first time and I got a chance to interact with them for the first time. It was nice to meet many new faces and I was able to know the current status of the class. Also I made them write ✍️ on "How a science teacher should be?"  I was a little tensed in the first day of the school. I reached Manacaud GHSS at 9 am to open the new chapter in my life. The children, surroundings , teachers ,buildings and everything was unfamiliar for me. The very first day itself, we were able to see the school assembly. HM Jos sir addressed the assembly.  Unfortunately I was not able to see my guide Arun Kumar sir as he went to Kozhikode along with the students to attend Kalolsavam. After the assembly HM sir gave us the instructions and arranged the place to make us seated. He received the letter from Mar Theophilus Training College and the attendance register. In the first day , I was observing the school premises, the appearance of the students in terms of uniform and their behaviour. Also I inquired about the pattern of behavior when my friends visit each class. I had just one period on that day. Afternoon my turn came, I went 8E  in the 6th period with the intention to teach, but unfortunately I was not able to start anythin
