Dr. Ancy A S our psychology teacher made us to perform Bell Adjustment Inventory. And we find out the rate of adjustment within us and submitted the practical.  click 👉 Practical Bell Adjustment Inventory Hugh McKee Bell (1902-1967) was born in Pennsylvania and obtained his M.A. from Stanford University in 1928. He spent his career at California State University at Chico, as professor of psychology and later dean. In 1934, Bell published the first version of a test of student adjustment known as the Adjustment Inventory (later the Bell Adjustment Inventory). It included a series of questions designed to measure home adjustment, health adjustment, social adjustment, and emotional adjustment.

On 18 November 2022 , it was our seniors graduation 🎓 ceremony. On to the visuals... The best outgoing student was Nikhil of Physical Science... The best association was Physical Science...

A  capacity building programme was organized based on Life skills and the talk was given by Dr.Prakash Ramachandran.

  On 5th November 2022 I was on cloud nine. It was our  field trip to Pallaruvi, Thenmala. The day before I slept early and woke up at 5.30, packing my small bag with essentials such as drinking water, an additional dress, umbrella, mobile, medicines required and purse. And I reached the college at 6.30. In the college premises there were two tourist buses. Each bus was shared by three optionals i.e,  one bus was meant for physical Science, English and mathematics where Dr.Maya M S , Meekha Sooraj Koshi and Dr.Joju John were the teachers in charge. The other bus was meant for Social Science, Malayalam and Natural Science where Dr. Ancy A S and Dr. K. Y Benedict (our principal) were the teachers in charge. The unforgettable journey started at 6.40 and picked up students from different spots on the way to the destination. 96 students participated in the field trip along with 5 teachers.

Capacity building programme was held on 10th November 2022. The session began with the welcome speech of Dr.K.Y Benedict. In the absence of Dr.Maya M S , Dr Joju John handled the session. The resource person was Mr.Jobi Kondoor, District coordinator of Childline Trivandrum. He is also child rights activists and a life skill trainer. His first instruction was to close our books and keep it aside , at that moment itself we recognised that this session is going to be more interesting and activity oriented one. The activities such as building blocks, reason behind the name, ice breaking sessions, seven steps  to heaven , concerntration games and many more was performed. It was an engaging session.

Reading and Oratory Club, 'Likha' of Mar Theophilus Training College Trivandrum in association with college union ADVITHIYA organized a Communicative English Course. It was inaugurated by Dr. Asha A K , Assistant professor of Aishabai College, Mumbai. She is an author, life skill and spoken English trainer. The session was conducted on 9th November 2022 at 7.30pm . It was a very interesting class, she introduced us many words which would be helpful for us during our teaching practice. It was very informative.

Freshers day was conducted by 66th college union ADVITHIYA of Mar Theophilus Training College Trivandrum on 11th November 2022. The freshers were requested to come in 90s attire. And they were awarded theo freshen and theo freshee as a token of love. Also the one with best dressed was acknowledged. The programme extended from 10am to 1pm. It was full of fun and every one enjoyed the programme. Our juniors actively participated in the events without any kind of shyness, but they were fully power packed and did it without any hesitation.

As part of freshers day Union members of ADVITHIYA requested us to set the stage decoration maintaining the theme of 90s. The stage decoration was done by the creative club. So I and Greeshma bought the charts and colour papers required for the stage decoration from premiere store , Kesavadasapuram. And we together worked out to set the stage.

As per the request of my mentor Dr.Neena Thomas,  I made some bracelet of different colours. One day ma'am asked to make different colours of bracelet,so that she can wore it for different sarees as she likes. Also she assured that I will be paid for my work and she kept her promise true when I  gifted the box of bangles. And I earned an amount of 700 for my work. I'm thankful to ma'am for giving such an opportunity.

Contribution of physical science to psychology exhibition....

As part of the Psychology exhibition I and Preethi of Physical Science made a still model on Lobes of Human 🧠 Brain. It mainly highlighted frontal lobe, occipetal lobe, cerebellum, parietal lobe, brainstem  and temporal lobe. Making process👉   Human Brain Model Also we made a puzzle which should be solved from one's own perception. The puzzle was named as " PICK OUT" .One should choose a number and pick out the picture to analyze it and find the word that represent the picture.

Mar Theophilus Training College Trivandrum organized a capacity building programme on Life skills as part of the psychology club 'Akam' inauguration in association with 66th college union ADVITHIYA.  The cheif guest of the programme was Dr. Prakash Ramachandran, soft skill trainer and sucess coach. After the capacity building programme, psychology exhibition was also organised. All the student teachers actively participated in the exhibition and presented their items.
