St.Marys Week 7

I have to say that this is the seventh week I'm teaching in a government management school like St.Marys HSS which can be a rewarding and unique experience for me. The school provides opportunity to be part of an institution that emphasizes equal access to education for all students, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status. This creates a diverse classroom environment, which fosters cultural exchange, learning from different perspectives, and celebrating the richness of diversity. This school typically have a strong support system in place for both teachers and students. Highlights of the week... These are my innovative models to teach distance and displacement in Chapter Motion for class 8.  The students were so interested to do the maze and they understood the concept distance and displacement very easily. The regarding the vector and scalar quantities was explained with the help of a still model based on directions. And it helped the students to identify distance as Scalar quantity and displacement as vector quantity. Highlights of the week....                             REMEDIAL TEACHING  I was able to conduct the remedial teaching in class IX J1. I tried to implement the peer tutoring method by dividing them into groups.And selected some students as leaders of the groups. And those students were asked to teach the selected topics to the students, after that questions were asked to other members based on the topic and was able to recognise their level of understanding.    class observation of Aiswarya teacher...    Highlights of the week.... Took concept attainment model in class 8N. Positive and negative examples was exhibited using ICT. And a pick and paste activity was provided based on the concept motion. The diagnostic test was conducted at IX J 1 . The question paper contained 10 questions with objective types, fill in the blanks and true or false based on the chapter Structure of Atom in Chemistry.

The International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, or World Drug Day, is marked on 26 June every year to strengthen action and cooperation in achieving a world free of drug abuse. The aim of this year’s campaign is to raise awareness about the importance of treating people who use drugs with respect and empathy; providing evidence-based, voluntary services for all; offering alternatives to punishment; prioritizing prevention; and leading with compassion. The campaign also aims to combat stigma and discrimination against people who use drugs by promoting language and attitudes that are respectful and non-judgmental.   Highlights of the week...
