Happy Journey 🥳

A very beautiful day in my life, a day of happiness and togetherness. It was our field trip. I wake up early, packed my bags and went to college around 7am. After 15minutes we started our journey. We had our breakfast together. We danced under the disco light like lunatics , we showered all our energy from the start to the end of the journey. As part of the field trip we went to United Electricals at Kollam district. We saw different equipments that generate current, different machineries that is used to produce copper plates, then saw the tin and zinc plating process. It was so informative. 

The highlight of our journey begins then. Before that we had our lunch and then went to the Adventure Park. We spent there for around 1 hour. Over there many activities were present. It was fun spending time in Adventure Park.


The field trip become more enjoyable at Sambranikodi Mangroves which is at the centre of the famous Ashtamudi Kayal. By means of a house boat we reached there. 
We put our legs into the lake and it was a good feel to walk in touch with the earth. All the photo session took place there. We also captured the nature through our eye cameras and stored in our hearts. Then we went to the famous St.Casmir church and then off to Thankassery beach. It was a pleasure trip , we had so much of fun and so much of memories. Our dear Neena ma'am was very supportive and moreover she was like one of our friends who was so attached and loving to all the students.

The special induction session was taken by Dr. G V HARI ,  a renowned teacher, KPCC chairman and  National project director at  Jawahar Bal Manch. He discussed about the value of a teacher and the dignity of the designation as a teacher. The discussion went on with the concept called energizers. The significance of energizing is to bring readiness in students so that they will receive things quickly with a good presence of mind. The session focused on the importance of student teacher interaction. We came across a new technical word called 'allegory' which means stories and 'introspection' ,that is , reflection on one's own conscious experience, to find answers to psychological questions. Educational Rights

We had a discussion on educational rights for women which involves the right to live free from violence and discrimination. The session was conducted by M.Ed student teacher's Miss Kaveri and Miss Vidhya from Department of Education . We went through the impact of society on women rights .  Later the interaction turn to a debate on whether saree is an essential ingredient for the dignity of a teacher? The discussion involved about the right to freedom, right to education, right to equality and right to speech. Then they conveyed the importance of human rights in student education . However the session ended with the mime organised by first year B.Ed students which was based on the theme "protection of human rights". As a part of the M.Ed internship we made a poster on  Life Skills.

The camp was inaugurated by Mr.Y Shibu, assistant commissioner of police, North zone Kozhikode, in  presence of principal Dr.K.Y Benedict sir, union advisor Dr.Joju John sir and Camp coordinator Deepthi Elizabeth ma'am and union members . The events of the first day were organized by team Ikshana. After the inauguration, Mr. Y Shibu  talked about the appalling effects of narcotics and he went into the details regarding various addictions and the ways to tackle addictions among the school students.  The next session was headed by Mr. Jith from Kerala fire and safety department , which emphasized on basic fire and safety instructions. It was truly an eye opening class which vanished the false thoughts of students . Then followed by a game Bombing the city, which ensured the entire participation of the students.
