Christmas Day of MTTC

It was the Christmas day of MTTC, the day full of joy. All were in red and white costumes taking selfies, preparing for the Christmas competitions and the Christmas events. Around 11am the celebration started and the Christmas message was given by Rev. Fr. Jolly Karimpal and then together joining with our principal Dr.K.Y Benedict and Fr. Thomas Kayyalakkal they cut the Christmas cake 🎂.



After the cake cutting ceremony,the real celebration started with the group song of first and second year student teachers which entertained and indulged the audience in happiness.


Later we had many exciting moments such that various associations of MTTC showered their talents which put on beauty to the Christmas events. Even our beloved principal and lovely teacher's had their vibrant and energetic dance moves which jiggled the entire auditorium into a dance dhamaka. Anyway 😜 the Christmas day was awesome with  the hidden talents of teachers and students .

The special induction session was taken by Dr. G V HARI ,  a renowned teacher, KPCC chairman and  National project director at  Jawahar Bal Manch. He discussed about the value of a teacher and the dignity of the designation as a teacher. The discussion went on with the concept called energizers. The significance of energizing is to bring readiness in students so that they will receive things quickly with a good presence of mind. The session focused on the importance of student teacher interaction. We came across a new technical word called 'allegory' which means stories and 'introspection' ,that is , reflection on one's own conscious experience, to find answers to psychological questions. Educational Rights

We had a discussion on educational rights for women which involves the right to live free from violence and discrimination. The session was conducted by M.Ed student teacher's Miss Kaveri and Miss Vidhya from Department of Education . We went through the impact of society on women rights .  Later the interaction turn to a debate on whether saree is an essential ingredient for the dignity of a teacher? The discussion involved about the right to freedom, right to education, right to equality and right to speech. Then they conveyed the importance of human rights in student education . However the session ended with the mime organised by first year B.Ed students which was based on the theme "protection of human rights". As a part of the M.Ed internship we made a poster on  Life Skills.

The camp was inaugurated by Mr.Y Shibu, assistant commissioner of police, North zone Kozhikode, in  presence of principal Dr.K.Y Benedict sir, union advisor Dr.Joju John sir and Camp coordinator Deepthi Elizabeth ma'am and union members . The events of the first day were organized by team Ikshana. After the inauguration, Mr. Y Shibu  talked about the appalling effects of narcotics and he went into the details regarding various addictions and the ways to tackle addictions among the school students.  The next session was headed by Mr. Jith from Kerala fire and safety department , which emphasized on basic fire and safety instructions.
