A thankful day...π☺️
The day was vibrant and our dear Revathy ma'am took the topic regarding educational podcasts and m- learning. She explained it beautifully and created a space for open discussion based on the subject. Educational podcasts is a series of audio or video files on the web. Podcasts involve audio, video, PDF and ePub files which can be subscribed to and downloaded through web. While mobile learning ( m-learning ) is defined as learning across multiple contexts, through social and content interactions using personal electronic devices. M- learners use mobile technology for learning purposes. Also she mentioned the merits and de- merits of m-learning.
The session was windup by Dr.Joju John sir. He appreciated Revathy ma'am for her teaching style and the way she conveys everything in a great understanding. He sent the valuable feedback to the exceptional teacher Revathy ma'am. The student teachers also showered their love and regards through comments for her hardwork and dedication in teaching.
After that we had session on national integration which was took by Shabana ma'am and Dr.Maya ma'am added the essential points to the respected topic.
Maya ma'am said about the facts regarding the caste. She pose a question that why casteism is not removed even though the monarchial system is abolished and led by a democratic government. And discussed about the influence of casteism in educational aspects. Then ma'am told us about "Varnashrama-dharma" which is related to socially defined rules for better society. Also gave us an idea regarding national integration which is a feeling of oneness and the role of NCC, social service activities, NSS... in encouraging national integration. Anti-nationalism was also mentioned which are sentiments associated with an opposition to nationalism. And shared a thought that, it is mandatory to provide awareness to avert the involvement of students in anti-national activities. Anyway teachers have a significant role in developing international understanding and world peace.
